FAQ’s

Question: Can I keep my catch?

All Tuna will be released unharmed; under no circumstances will a Tuna be brought on deck. These magnificent creatures will be unhooked and photographed at the side of the boat to ensure their well-being. Sharks may only be brought on deck if it is deemed necessary for the fish's interest, as determined by the skipper. While we welcome the catch of other species, in accordance with current legislation, we strongly encourage the release of larger Bass to sustain the population. For those planning to keep some fish for the table, we recommend bringing sturdy plastic bags to keep your catch fresh.

Question: Do you have a toilet onboard?

Yes, we have full toilet facilities onboard.

Question: Where are you based and where can I park?

‘Seriola ll’ is berthed at Falmouth Haven Marina, North quay, bottom of Quay street, Falmouth TR11 3HH.

Long stay parking is available at ‘The Dell’ car park, Arwennack Avenue, Falmouth. TR11 3HP. Approx 4-minute walk to the marina.

Question: When will I know if our trip is going ahead due to the weather?

We monitor the weather on a daily basis and endeavour to give a minimum of 24 hours notice if adverse conditions might affect your booking. 48 hours for travelling anglers.

Question: Do I need to bring my own fishing tackle?

We use our own tackle for most Tuna fishing but you can bring your own popping or casting kit providing it is up to the task. Most Bass anglers like to bring their own tackle but we do have tackle available if required. Lures can be purchased on board if needed.

Question: What happens if bad weather stops our trip?

The skipper has the final say on weather forced cancellations, in this case, an alternative date may be offered or refund of any deposits paid.

At Seriola Sport Fishing, we believe that having the right equipment is crucial for a successful day on the water, especially when targeting the impressive tuna.
